Welcome!

Hey there!

If you are reading this I hope you know that you are SO loved! Using your valuable time out of your day, just to take interest in what I have to say?! Wow.  Please know that I have an abundance of gratitude for you right now at this very moment in time. *air hug*

Welcome!

I’m going to start off by first formally introducing myself. Some of course have known me for most of my life as Janeé Bailey but as of almost 5 months ago I officially became Mrs. Janeé Elias, wife to the most kind and loving Kafar Elias! (Who you will see accompanying me now on most of my shoots! lol) I am a portrait & lifestyle photographer, that resides in the best city EVER, Houston, Tx. When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I’m either going for a walk at buffalo bayou, taking a nap, cooking something new that I discovered on instagram, or somewhere out trying new restaurants with my husband. :)

There has been so much change and transition in the past year of my life that it has grown me immensely in ways and areas I never knew I needed to grow in.

There’s been a transition from singleness to wife life. 10 out of 10 def recommend! Thankful to have a partner and a friend to be so delicately loved by.

A transition from being a full time “nine to fiv-er” to full time entrepreneur. (Definitely not for the weak, that will be another blog for another time)

And on a more personal note, from having locs for four and half whole years to spending two of the longest weeks of my life taking them down and releasing them for a fresh new start as a loose natural. If you need a lesson on commitment, that’ll definitely help! lol

(And that’s just to name a few. )

Everything has had its significance to bring me to this very moment in time. And the only phrase that I have to describe it all is “God’s timing is always best.”

I have decided to start this blog to create a space of expression for myself, a spotlight  for my wonderful clients and inspiration and encouragement for those alike. As I continue on this challenging yet character building journey as a creative, I hope to share the many ways I am able to remain consistent and grateful for this opportunity and vision that God set inside of me.

In 2023 I hope to accomplish much in growing my clientele, experience and business. But I could not do all of this without you. Your support, love, care and belief in what Jlenz Photography is and has the potential to be, is what helps keep it moving forward.

Please continue to share, and like or comment on this blog post!

Much Love & Light,

Janeé E.
